What does a blue wavy line mean under a trailhead sign? Here's the specific example that I saw under the Tom Blake trailhead sign in Snowmass yesterday afternoon:
Just an intermediate level trail. Similar to ski trail difficulty ratings. Green - Blue - Black - Double Black or Red. The wavy line is to distinguish it from ski trails in the same area.
Good info, thanks! So universally, intermediate ski trails use a straight blue line and intermediate bike trails (in ski resort towns) use a wavy blue line?
I know you know but:
Ski Slope symbols 101:
Round circle in green = beginner trail
Solid square in blue = intermediate trail.
Black diamond or double black diamond = go big or go home expert trail.
