First of all I know this might be the wrong thread but I bought a used w00dman dirt jumper and am dire need of finding a brake adapter that would fit it. Its an old frame so I dont know much. The old one broke and getting a replacement is hard because the company isnt responding to my emails. If anybody knows anything please help. Its a sliding horizontal dropout adapter that mounts to the dropout and the tire. Ill have some pictures.
that's a tough one if they don't respond. how long have you been waiting? I checked and I didn't see a phone number for their American office. you might check with their distros: BTI and Fairwheel Bikes WOOdman Components Road & x country freeride Mountain bikes
I can't tell from the photos (why are they in PDF format?), what's wrong with the existing brake adapter?
Its been 2 months and I had already checked with their American distributors. The existing one is snapped at the top I just put it together in the image so you can see what it looked like. I put it in pdf because thats all I could do.
oh yeah. I've emailed them over 3 times now. I just think that they don't even exist anymore as a company. I am probably screwed just wanted to exhaust all my options.
might be worthwhile to find an alternative part to make that work. I wonder if someone that works on small parts could make you a new one based on the old one. might be expensive, though. contact Paragon Machine Works or Zodiac.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
