I'm a 250 pound Clydesdale, solid intermediate rider on an Ibis Ripley LS V3. I get to ride 1 to 3 times a week, 1 to 1 1/2 hours each time. I ride just north of Atlanta and don't do any drops or jumps. I'm debating which upgrade will give me the most noticeable results. Presented in order of increasing cost:
1. Upgrade my hubs to something with many more engagement points. Add them to my existing, stock, aluminum wheels.
2. Upgrade shift lever and derailleur to SRAM AXS wireless shifting. Leave everything else SRAM GX.
3. Upgrade to carbon wheels AND better hubs.
I'm not looking for specific brand recommendations, just a generic feeling for which of those three options would benefit my riding the most.
Thanks!
