I bring this question to y'all because you are the experts in the Great Seized Bolt War.
I have a mid-school titanium frame with aluminum removable dropouts and aluminum bolts. The bolts are seized and stripped. I've successfully removed a stuck AL seatpost from steel using lye so am wondering if I can do this with Aluminum stuck to Titanium, or will the lye react with titanium.
Anyone know for sure?
