Does this fork exist?

I'm not sure where to post this. I figure this forum sees more rigid riders than any other so...

My Kona Unit is old (2008!) but I love it, especially with a short (by current standards) rigid fork on it. I currently have a carbon Origin8 fork that serves well. But it's at least 8 years old now. And every time I ride, I can't help but wonder how much longer it's going to last. So, I'd like to replace it.

What I'd like is:
* 468 mm axle-to-crown length
* Straight 1 1/8" steerer
* Steel or carbon
* 15 mm thru axle

Does such a fork exist? I can find forks with everything but the thru axle. Thru axle rigid forks tend to be longer and/or have a tapered steerer.

I know I could have Walt or another builder make the fork I want, but then I'd end up with a fork worth more than the bike I put it on, which seems silly.

If my unicorn fork doesn't exist, I'll probably just get a steel Salsa with QR dropouts.

TIA

DT Swiss 10mm RWS are the answer you seek. As close to thru-axle as one can get on dropout style forks. Raced with them for years, front and rear, on my ElMar SS and won an 11 race regional XC series on it.

Salsa used to sell a version of the CroMoto Grande fork exactly like what you are looking for. I have one I bought years ago for my Vassago and it is now on my Unit. Unfortunately, the thru axle CroMoto Grande is now only available with a tapered steerer and 483mm A-C.

Universal cycles does currently sell this and have always wondered how it would compare to my Salsa.

Just found this on Ebay.

Seller is calling it a 650b fork, but I am pretty sure this fork was never sold specifically for that size wheel. Bet if you ask, A-C will be what you are looking for.

Good options! I messaged that eBay seller and the fork length is indeed 468 mm.

Pretty close, 1 1/8in, 465mm A/C, 15MM TA.
Another great option!

Thanks!

That was my first thought as I've got an older White Bro's fork that I really like. While the site states 'straight or tapered' 'qr or 15mm'. Everywhere I looked I could only find options that were either straight and qr or tapered and 15mm. Maybe they exist but I couldn't find a straight/15mm or tapered/qr anywhere online.
