Hi all singelspeeders out there!
I have just started a page called singleSpeedAttitude.com where I would like to collect some nice ss mtb's to show for other riders as inspiration for new bike builds. If you have a picture of your ss mtb that you would like to share with others I would be happy to add it to the page. I have made some stickers with the logo (shown on tio of the page) that I send to all that contributes.
This will always remain a static webpage and is NOT intended to challenge forums or facebook groups who today talk about bicycles. Just to clarify now when I post here on MTBR !!

The specification that single speeds with tensioners will not be posted on the site meets my approval! Bravo.
There was no stipulation about dingles. Unsure of this. Given the required bike pose, from the side, with the front wheel to the right, it would be hard to tell if it was a Dingle unless scrutiny is paid to the rear end, depending.

When i started this project I had an instruction saying that it had to be a "dedicated" singlespeed frame. I acctually changed this yesterday to "with no tensioner". The reason for this was that I just could not say no to an awesome bike that used a hub in the back wheel that allowed tensioning of the chain on a "not dedicated fram".
I love the dedication in the singlespeed community and don't want to step on anyones toes with my webpage! So I don't judge people by what bike they ride. All singlespeeders to me.
Hahaha!! As I said befor.. no judgeing from my part! Love the bar ends! Also see that you are true to the "old-school" style with a coaster brake and all!
And a new 29:er up for display on the homepage today
- won't be posting there, I run a tensioner......why throw away a good Ti 29er frame because it requires a tensioner? - my SS gets the job done just fine ........
It counts in my book if you stand on the climbs... I think we all prefer a proper chain tensioning method but the bottom line is a singlespeed is still a singlespeed so long as it's got one gear.
Likewise when you race SS CX your welcome to do it on a geared bike so long as you zip tie your shifter.
- sliding dropouts, eccentric bottom brackets, or tensioners, it doesn't matter, they're all designed to do the same thing but SingleSpeedA claims the tensioner doesn't belong because it adds a rotational cog (inline with the chainring / cog) that somehow makes it an "impure" single speed.......hmmmm, splitting hairs it appears.......my bike rides incredibly smooth, easily as good as my bro's Niner w/eccentric BB or my former KHS SoloSE with sliding dropouts........
You put words in my mouth there bro! Have never talked about "impure"... etc. But can we at least agree on that some bikes can only be ridden as ss and other bikes can be used in more ways then ss? Have been rideing a ss with tensioner, with magicgear and with sliding dropouts. All ss bikes.
Glad to hear that they arrived safely after traveling all the way cross the atlantic!!
