Torn between:

1) Salsa Selma 29
2) Lynskey Ridgeline 29
3) Carver 420 29er
4) Vassago Optimus Ti
5) SEVEN Sola SL 29er, with 1.5" Headtube(Lefty)

I'm new to SS and I want a frame to last. Going for possible, sub-20lb build. What say ye?

I love my Lynskey Pro29 as a rigid single speed. I got a size Small.

I understand that the frame has the same geo as the Ridgeline. The Ridgeline is slightly lighter but not as rigid.

When my Pro29 was set up geared with a suspension fork, I hated it. Don't know why... it just didn't feel right (harsh and unforgiving). As a SS it felt perfect.

So if you get a Ridgeline it would be custom for the sliding dropouts since Lynskey went back to Threaded BB.

My Pro29 is a 2014 (PF30) so I can use an eccentric bottom bracket.

Also get another derailleur hanger as a spare so you can cut one down for a proper SS.
