NEW Leatts, DBX Comp / DBX Ride

Seen these up on CRC, no details as yet waiting for a response back from Leatt themselves!

Suspect these are the new MTB Specific Leatt braces, some subtle changes

    check em out here!

doesnt look like anything drastic changed with the height of the deck lids. maybe same frame, with the low-pro pads?

thanks for postiing that!! i was about to order the regular one but might as well get the bike specific one now. There won't be any good gravity riding around here for another month or two anyway.

any word on when they are going to be available and prices?

Thanks for posting this. I almost pulled the trigger last weekend on one. We'll see what price range this comes in at.

Trying to get a pictorial comparison, still hard to get real idea

Its not yet available for a few months keep an eye out on CRC though they may get it earlier, I still rec you get via ya local dealer to get fitted and supported correctly, a real nice feature from Leatt is they do have many accessories to pimp ya brace decal kits , etc so they really support you!

You should eb able to get an idea of price, use the currency converter on CRC change to your currency it looks to be a bit lower cost than the moto vers, but don;t quote me on that lol

No worris guys, if ya got a GPX ya still have a huge market to sell onto the moto crowd second hand plus it will still be good. Hopefully this will be even better, got my order down lol..

Looks like it has some sort of new release double tap lever.
And of course white is sooo much faster.

The release levers look to be almost identicle other than color and very slight change in shape.

Did anyone check them out at Sea Otter to confirm if the DBX Ride's rear shelf was the same angle as the Adventure or if it's using a lower bicycle-specific angle?

I was planning on getting a Leatt this year and decided to wait on the DBX after being told it would show up at my LBS by the end of June. Well, they still don't have an ETA so I called Leatt and was told the end of July at the earliest. That's too long to wait so I went ahead and got a Club. FYI for those holding out.

    Same here!

CRC says July 20th or there about. The date keeps getting pushed back.

I sprung for the GPX Club and gave it a run over the weekend. Fits great with my moto lid. Full range of motion when riding, I don't even know it's on!

A local mx shop confirmed that those new braces are indeed with low profile padding which will be available seperatly. So any gpx model can be coverted. However I think the original padding is pretty much as low as it can go so I have my doubts. But for me the gpx is working fine, got plenty of movement.

I don't believe there is a bike-specific release lever. I recently purchased a GPX Club and received the red levers.

They are red as a signal to EMTs, similar to newer moto helmets with cheek pad release tabs.
The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.

    I think you're right.

    No bike specific lever.

Only difference is supposed to be the padding. And how much is that gonna change?!

    It's all marketing IMHO
