Will a Maxle Lite work on a RS Lyrik???
Just curious if anyone has tried this yet? it seems like it would be an easy way to make the lyrik solo air weigh about the same as a fox float 36.
I am going total weight weenie on this next build and it seems like it would be a fairly cheap way to lose 50 grams off the bike. I want a lyrik though cause i have heard good things about the solo air and its black so thats a bonus.

que? Why wouldn't you want to lose 50 grams of pointless weight.
I think it will work, might want to track someone down with a maxle light, and just make sure rock shoxs didn't change the tread pitch, or somthing lame like that.

I don't think it will. The Maxle from my PIKE is narrower than the Maxle from my Lyrik. Not even a close fit. I figure the Maxle Lite from other forks might even be narrower.

If i save 50 grams off the lyrik, then 75 of the each rim, then 75 off each tire, etc etc etc it should equal a 29-30 pound nomad.

I think that the latest 2010 lyrik already has the maxle dh lite.It wont work with any other maxle other than a totem/lyrik/boxxer because as dan51 said they are wider.
