What is the plastic thing thats coming with fox qr15 forks?

Recently picked up a fox talas 32 150mm travel with the qr15 axle...

along with the pump, star nut and hose guide, there was a mysterious plastic piece included- a plug that's about 1" long, 1 1-/8" diameter, and has holes both lengthwise and through the middle. I'll try to post some pics up later.

Juts curious if anybody knows what this is? Something to do with the star nut, or something to do with the qr15? I have never seen anything like this packaged with a fox 36 fork.

It looks like the spacer I got with my F120 to reduce travel.

Looks like a travel reduction spacer for sure, which doesn't make a lot of sense, given that the fork is a Talas.

They doesn't make an especific bag (the one with the user manual) for each fork model, so they just pack a travel reducer for all 32 forks.

Even the Vanilla comes with one of those.
