trick to getting Fox fork lockout lever to line up after oil change?

On a fox fork..

When putting it back together after an oil change..

is there any method I can use to predictably get the lockout lever at the 6 o'clock position when engaged?

The instructions in the Fox Manual work for me. It says:

Lockout Lever Installation: Using the blue Lockout Lever as a wrench, screw the Lockout Screw (octagon flats) in the clockwise direction until it stops. Put the Lockout Lever on the lockout screw so that the lever faces approximately 6 o'clock position.

I followed the same manual around 2 months ago to line up the blue lever to 6 o'clock, but since that time the lockout position has slipped counter-clockwise to around 2 o'clock. Has anyone else experienced this, and is it a sign of a bigger problem?

Note that lockout still works fine, but I'm wary of any slippage like this over time.
