    Too much top out?

I was wondering if anyone knows how much shock top out is acceptable?

I've got an Avy Woodie coil over with two turns of preload. I get a firm top out when I leave the ground for air time. If I turn up my rebound enough to soften the top out, my rear packs up.

I'm not sure if a firm top out is normal for a coil over shock. I've always had air and the spring rate of the air shocks always seemed to drop off enough twards top out so as not to have the same effect.

    Thoughts?
