    Talas to Float Conversion?

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a Talas to a Float 140? I usually ride in the 140 setting and it seems like all of the Float 140's I have demoed are much plusher due to the lack of Talas valving.

    TALAS, you mean?

Yeah, you have to order the parts from Fox.

I did this about a month ago, but it was on the 130 TALAS. Probably all the same with the 140 though.

Call Fox and tell them what you want to do. For $80 they sent me all the pieces and I did it myself. Don't expect it to come with instructions though. You'll have to use the manual and your head to figure it out. Took me under an hour.
The for is much plusher now, unfortunately my girlfriend now insists she needs adjustable travel. I can't win.

All air style systems from Fox use the same uppers as long as the travel is the same.No problem at all.

EDIT: Yes, for the same travel the uppers can be switched.

Funny I had asked Fox about this same issue and the told me the opposite. No problemo. You can see the difference very slightly. I could not tell the difference on a few swap outs I did though.Good to know.
