Stiction in the fork. How to minimize without collecting a ton of dirt?

In my particular case: SR Suntour XCT w/coil spring & preload, 80mm travel

    Typical in this component level?

Very noticeable on pavement and sometimes noticeable on the trail and by that I include the large displacement hits.

Change the lower bath oil every 30 hours as recommended. Normally stiction doesn't become noticeable for closer to 50 hours, but the 30 hour interval maintains new performance and the longest wear life. Brand new forks can be low in oil.

    I wonder if that's it.

It has the same stiction now as new ........ which was only two weeks ago. Picked it up from the pounds on 3-31.

I'll have them look, no biggie. And since it is typical then we'll see what tips they might have.

Maybe I'll drip in some WeaponShield oil onto the seals and work it a bit lol.
