Signs that I need to bleed/replace my RockShox Pike RC Damper

I bought a used bike with a 2017 Rockshox Pike RC

First owner bumped travel from 150 to 160mm

I can't get the rebound to slow down as much as I'd like - in other forks (same model, but with stock 150mm travel) I've ridden, the ability to slow down the rebound was much more existent.

So, that said - would a bleed do anything to help with the rebound adjustment, or is there maybe something else I should look into?

    Thanks!

Turn the compression/lock out up all the way. Then, from the fork fully extended compress the fork. If there is some play in the top of the stroke before the compression damping kicks in, then you probably need to do a damper bleed. By some amount of play, i mean 1 cm or so, a few mm is normal.

sounds good. I believe the compression/lockout is turned all the way "down" to no compression. Will double check this when I get home tonight

    Thanks

    checked, no play

going to add some tokens tomorrow and see if at a lower psi it acts any different - quite possibly could be wrong, but I have a feeling with lower psi, I'll want less rebound, and in that case, I'm screwed as I already need less rebound

If your rebound is fully close and it's still to fast, you definitely need to bleed.
