Noleen MegaAir or RS Reba SL

I have a Noleen on my race bike and love it because I just know exactly what it's doing. For my trail bike I looking for something 'tight' to replace my aging Marz. Atom Race. These two options fit the budget and should be laterally stiff (32mm stanchions).

Reba. More travel options, better dampening, platform dampining, and greater tuning options.
    Riding slowly since 1977.

Reba is better. Pretty much all the reasons have been mentioned. Very adjustable, very stiff, and very strong. I know a bunch of guys that ride urban with the Reba.

    have owned both

I have owned both. (I think I sold you your Mega Air.) In terms of performance, there is no comparison. I am now on a Reba SL and it is much more tuneable than the Mega Air. The rebound has a huge range of adjustment, the lockout is nice for fire road climbs and the dual air really lets you dial in small bump vs bit hit adjustability. I have not really messed with the floodgate yet.

For the $270 I spent, it is a lot of fork!

    Hope that helps.
