Lockout from Recon Solo Air transferred to a Rev Solo Air possible???

I picked up a 2013 Revelation RLT and a 2013 Recon RL with remote lock. The 100mm recon is going on a short travel hardtail and really doesn't require a lockout. I have no idea about fork internal - Would it be possible to put the lockout on the 140mm Revelation instead?

Is there a lockout kit available after market?

If its a Recon Gold, it may work. If its a Recon Silver, It wont work.

You can just buy a damper as well. Pick the damper of you choice out and google it.

    For example: https://www.google.com/#q=revelation...e=off&tbm=shop

Thanks for the response. I do work on my own bikes but I have never touched the insides of a fork or shock so I have lots to learn.

Since I have the cable and the bar mount would this do the trick for the rest of the parts?

Also if I have a RLT Revelation I could buy the RCT3 damper?

The link you posted would work perfect if you wanted to keep the remote. If you want to drop the remote, you would need a different one.

Yes, you can upgrade to the RCT3 damper if you wanted to. They are pretty expensive though, around 140$
