    Fox support?

    Hi,
I am trying to call Fox support in order to get a part for an old fork. Can't get a hold of them.
Is there actually phone support from fox?

If not, any good resource in the bay area that can help me identify the part number and order it for me?

    Thanks

Are you saying they don't pick up the phone?

Yes. I called the number a few times over a few days and they don't pick up.

A few seasons ago they answered the phone. I have called numerous times in the past few months w/ only one answer.

Call their military DOD division, tell them you are General McArthur and need whatever part it is for you military version of whatever bike you own. They may pick up that call or at least return it.

Fox customer service is pretty much rates Whale Dung low. If they ever sent out a critique card and seriously applied 1% of the comments, never mind hasn't happened since the 70's, won't happen now.

Are you calling the 831 number? They pick up every time I've called.

I've always had good luck with Fox customer service. Only once can I remember there being no answer and having to leave a message. I was called back in a couple hours. I have sent shocks to them for their Pro Tune service and each time turnaround has been between 7-10 days. Oh yeah, and you can order parts directly from them.

Maybe they've just got caller ID there and have chosen to no longer take the calls of people, A- obsessing about a creaky headeset that just has to be coming from the fork crown, or B- worrying about the exact color shade of their stanchions?

    Found the cure:
Pacific Ave Cycles in Santa Cruz CA

Knowledgeable fox repair shop, tons of parts even for older forks, quick service, and good prices. Highly recommended.
