New question here. Fox DHX 4 shaft bushing play

Ive deceided to rebuild an old DHX Ive found in my garage, I ordered new shaft (since the old one was scratched really bad) and when I was assembling the whole thing together, Ive noticed that there is fair amount of play between the shaft and sealhead assembly, Ive checked the inner shaft bushing, but it has only two minor scratches (possibly from old scratched shatf), so my question is, if this little play is normal for this old shock or I need to swap that inner bushing.

Is this 1/2 or 15.75 mm? The piston glide ring is the other load bearing part so I would replace that first as its easier and also prone to wear. They come in the service kit if you can get one

There will always be a small amount of play but too much is bad for sure

When I pump the IFP reservoair it seems to leak oil onto shaft so I will definetly try replacing that main seal.

    Edit* It is 1/2".
