Fisher G2 geometry fork on a non fisher frame...

Anybody know if there would be any issues on putting a Fisher G2 style fork on a non fisher frame. Looking to put one on a 2011 Chumba HX2. I know that the crown offset is more than a standard fork but wonder how that will effect the handling. Thanks in advance.....

It will have less steering trail than a fork having more common offset with the same travel and axle to crown height, so it will steer slightly quicker. The handling difference would be somewhat like lowering the crown of a fork 10mm to steepen head angle about 1/2 degree, without lowering the handle bars. If you notice the handling difference, after a few rides you will probably adapt to the minor change.
