Convert RS Revelation Dual Position to Dual Air?

    Hello,
I've searched around but can't find the answer anywhere. I've got a 2012 RS Revelation Dual Position Air. I've found that i'm not using the dual position as much as i thought i would, and i'm getting a lot of brake dive at the pressures that feel good, as well as not using all the travel, etc. etc.

I found a dual air assembly on ebay that it claims is for 2010-2011 RS models (along with others that claim 2010-present). Does anyone know if i can do this swap? I'm really happy with my DA Reba, and hoping to get the same out of my Revelation...

What damper do you have? I have a Rev with the RCT3 damper and there's an adjustable low speed compression (LSC) circuit that works REALLY well at preventing brake dive. At max, it's close to lockout.

I don't think that the dual air *alone* will get you where you want.

Did you check the part numbers in the RockShox tech area?

This will tell you if the stanchions are different as the CSU will have a different part number for each iteration. Without looking, I would guess they don't work.

Thanks, i'll have to check that PDF out at home--my work apparently blocks that site (sigh).

I have the XX, but do not have the RCT3 damper. It looks like i can get one of those individually off ebay so maybe that's a way to go (it's about 3x what the DA assembly costs though).

The XX damper has an adjustable low speed as well. It's the little gold dial on the remote. Have you read the manual for that damper? The RCT3 only has one more adjustment than the XX (fully open) so give it a read and check it out. The gold dial is your low speed compression adjust.

You shouldn't buy anything! Get that sucker working!
