Can a 400# ti coil for a 2.25 stroke shock fit a 2.0 stroke shock?

I have a dhx coil on my 5.5 and wanted to lighten it any way possible. I can get a 400# ti coil for it for cheap but the shock stroke is 2.25 and on the 5.5 it is 2.0.Will this make a difference if the coil length is the same ( 4.75")?

As long as the overall spring length fits on the shock (which it sounds like it will), it will work fine.
