Broken Marzocchi rebound adjuster

Had a little accident today, high speed run-in with a tree. Bent the rebound adjuster on my 04 Marzocchi Marthon S. Then I made it a lot worse. I did one of those stupid things you know you shouldn't do, I tried to bend the little stub under the knob back straight, and (you guessed it) snap! *%&#$*&@!$%!!!!!!!

Am I correct in assuming that I'm going to have to replace the entire HSCV cartridge? [email protected]*&# I hate when these things happen. Oh yeah, how much is it going to cost me?

Have you called Marzocchi? Maybe you can replace just the shaft. I don't remember how things work on the Marathon but on a 2004 Z1, the knob is connected to a long rod which essentially is floating inside of the cylindrical chamber that it resides in. I would imagine you should get one of those pretty cheaply. If you can't, I would hunt down a machine shop to make you one.
