Any clue what year SID this is?

Somebody is offering this up for $85 in good shape. Good deal? Any clue about the year?

Pretty certain that's a 1999 SID, here's the manual

The huge gouges where the headset race should go don't look pretty. Not sure I would pay $85 for the fork.

I went ahead and passed on it. My other two options as of now are:

2006 Marathon SL for $175
or
2006 (or 2007) Marzocchi MZIII for $100

Any thoughts between those two?
