    2018 Revelation judder on braking

    Hi

When braking slightly i'm getting a slight judder through the fork, is this normal on a RS fork or could it be brake induced?

    Cheers

It's your brakes. Either they aren't aligned or you have spooge on the rotors.

    check your headset.
loose headset can also be the source of that issue.

If your headset is tight, also check the fork's bushings.

It's just a flexy fork. It happens quite a bit on those 32mm forks. Totally normal. I had a few Revs over the years and to some extent they all did this. You can change brake pads, check headset, all kinds of stuff but there is some deflection-based resonance regardless of what you do. Stiffer forks exhibit this trait a bit less.

2018 revs are 35mm. Same chassis as pikes.

I missed the 2018 in the subject... Some resonance is normal.

Cheers, it is also more noticeable when the brake pads are cold.
