    XTR M9000 Cassette Creaking?

I've been thinking about upgrading to XTR 11 speed on my current bike but I've read in a few reviews about a creaking noise from the M9000 cassettes. From what I can understand the Dura-Ace cassettes had a similar issue but they've now been updated and the noise is no more.

Has anyone had this issue with an M9000 cassette?
If so, have you had any luck getting it replaced under warranty from Shimano?

I have two and haven't noticed. M980 was a little creaky, but putting anti-seize between the carriers quieted it down.

...for one ride or until you ride through one puddle. XTR cassette means listening to that creak. It's the flex of the ti sections rubbing against each other. I'm sure from 980 to 9000
    is the same issue.

No problems here. Probably 120-150 hours on mine. YMMV.

When I'm in the third of fourth biggest cog and going up something fast and technical the cassette sounds like it is going to explode.

I have had luck putting a bit of grease between the carriers. Quiets it right down.

I've got the same problem with the third largest cog. It's more a grinding sound with a click than a creak for me. It almost seems as though the cog spacing is just slightly too small and the chain is grinding the side of the next cog. However there isn't any real visual evidence of this on my cassette. I've been pulling my hair out with this for several hours now.

Hey, just moved from sram XO1 to shimano m9000 to have problemfree shifting.
does this mean lots of grease and its working like it should?
My cassette is creaking on three lowest cogs...I suspect my LBS didn`t do proper torque to my cassette...Have to pull apart lots of carbon grease.
on bigger cogs I`m hearing some chain rubbing on cogs....damn nothing is perfect not srma not shimano...paying lot sof cash and nothing. My wifes XT M8000 is smooth as butter...
