    XTR brake comparison

Who has used both the 985 and new 987 titanium xtr race brakes? Do they feel the same? I have not tried xtr's before, but have heard they are a little on/off feeling. I know by all accounts, they are a great braking system, just hoping maybe the new ones give a little better modulation. I'm seriously considering xtr's for a new bike and would like some feedback. Thanks.

    XTR brake comparison

I have 985 and have ridden them for some time. I bought the 987 yesterday and will let you know once I have the new bike built up. It may be a few weeks though. I'm sure some others can help sooner than I can

The m985 and m987 have the same brake feel to me. They do have a slightly different feel than the m988 trail, which use the servo wave technology, and more power overall. I love them all, and have never had problems with lack of modulation.
