New question here. Which XT shifter?

My bike is currently set up with XT 2x10 and Shimano BL-M785B brakes. I'm planning on switching to an XT 1x11 setup. Which M8000 rear shifter do I need? What is the difference between bar mount, I-spec B and I-Spec II? Thanks!

I-spec B fits old m780 and earlier (which I'm guessing is what you have). I-Spec 2 fits m8000 only (or 9000, 7000, or presumably future brakes for a while).

(clamp fits any shifter, is adjustable in all directions, won't be made obsolete when they release i-spec 2b next year (kidding - but at they rate they obsolete i-spec...), and a 2g clamp isn't the end of the world. Just saying).

As far as I know the only differences between the different m8000 models is mounting, and the gear indicator.
