Does anyone know the factory shock tune for the CTD on the 5010?

    Shock tune on 5010

The tune is not included on the shock. The tune id is all that's given.

Good info. Did you get this from the Fox website or from SC?

    How critical is the tune?

Jumping in late on this thread...
I have the opportunity to buy a lightly used 2014 Fox Float CTD for a decent price.
HOWEVER, the tune is slightly different than what came equipped on my 2013 Solo C (Version 1). Current shock is a CTD Evolution, so anything would be an improvement.

The shock I'm looking at came off a SC Tallboy LTC, which has the same dimensions as my current shock ( 7.875 x 2.0 / 200mm x 51mm). The tune is CLJM, so the compression tune is VTM (I assume that's medium).

Soooo, my question is: How critical is the tune, and how will it affect my ride?

As a side note, I'm considering replacing the 'can' with one of Fox's new larger volume cans.

    Thanks!

I will be getting also a 5010 A Version 1 and I have a Float X i want to install, I hope the shock tune won't mess up with how the bike handles...

If you guys are keeping the stock fox get a vorsprung suspension corset air sleeve for it .. About $100 and the best thing ever for fox on the 5010!great small bump,no more soft middle and Ramps up nice for big hits ... Google vorsprung Suspension. They're out of BC and they test right there at whistler
