    Hightower V2?

So I am building up a 29er for this summer and I have narrowed it down to a SC HT or an Evil Following MB. Based on SCís design cycle it seems like the HT is due for a refresh soon. Does anyone have any info on whether that will be happening during 2018? I would hate to go for a HT and have a second generation come out a few months later. I typically keep bikes for 5-10 years.

What is it you don't like about the current Geo?

I strongly doubt the Hightower gets updated this year; consider the LT version the 2017 update.

2018 should bring a 29er V10 and maybe updates to 5010 & Bronson. Hopefully no ebikes.

Nothing, I would just like to have the latest and greatest that I can if Iím gonna keep the bike that long. For example, it probably was kinda a bummer for all the people that built up or purchased bikes just before the boost hub standard became really popular. Not saying itís needed, but itís nice to have.

I always look at the geo numbers and wonder how "old school" my Hightower is. Then I go riding and I wonder how well it rides. Go figure...

After 3 seasons I still f'n love my Hightower and will likely replace it with the next Hightower. A friend of mine works for a big Santa Cruz shop and I keep asking him about new Hightower rumors and all he's heard is we'll likely see one later in 2019 as a 2020 model but nothing concrete yet.
