WTB: Salsa Firestarter Fork (or other similar fork for my El Mar)

    Hey folks-
I have an El Mar that I'm wanting to convert to more of a bike packing/s24O machine than a bouncy MTB. I'm looking to go B+ and rigid.

    A) Is the Salsa Firestarter (steel) fork a good candidate for this? I chose it over the grande because of he braze-on situation.

    2) If not that fork then what (in steel) would you recommend?

iii) Does anyone have one they're looking to part with?

    Thanks!
    Justin, in Oakland

The Firestarter is perfect for this. I couldn't find any El Mar A2C specs on the Salsa site, but I can't imagine being different enough to matter. If you want to stick with steel and go a different route, you should try a Surly fork.
