    Weird thought but I can't help it...Dos Niner w/ a rigid fork?

I hate sus forks on my 29"er and was thinking of throwing the KM fork on a Dos frame. NOTHING YOU SAY CAN STOP ME !!!

Let us know how it rides

I was thinking of doing the same, but haven't gotten around to it. I imagine it'll ride fine; no funky properties like an FS bike would react. It will porbably ride alot like a steel hardtail at the weight of a scandium bike.

Tom, your drema has been keeping me awake the past weeks :-)
Good Ti fork, ti Jones bar, ti seatpost, Dos Niner softtail, that should just be the ultimate feel-fast-bike. I'll look odd, but ride sooo nice, I'm sure!

I rode my Moots YBB that way for a year -- worked great. I did a 100 mile race with it and lived to tell about it. Convinced me to go with a nice Ti fork on the new 29er (and I note that the 29er rear-end is as comfy as the YBB rear with a 26" wheel, just more efficient).
