    stupid Firestarter Fork question

My wife has a 2016 Fargo X9. It has a carbon Firestarter fork and a 15x100 thru-axle up front. In place of the thru-axle, it has a DT Swiss RWS thru bolt.

Is there any type of opposing end cap? The fork side opposite the thru-bolt twisting handle has no end cap or "nut", so it is open.

It looks as though the thru-bolt threads into the opposite leg of the fork, as the inside of the fork is threaded.

Is that normal? Am I missing a piece?
    just ride.

That's all there is to it, my friend. Thru-axle threads into threads on the opposite-side leg of the fork.

You can push in the little red button on the end of your thru-axle to position the handle where you want it, after tightening the axle...you probably already knew that...
