The first pix is of my first Salsa, a 2009 Fargo. Been enjoying that bike for 1.5 years now. So decided to add another Salsa to the collection, a 2011 Casseroll. Only had it 2 weeks, but been lov'n road riding with it. They compliment each other very well. So I'm now selling my 2008 Surly LHT. With the 2 Salsa's, there's no need for the Surly.

That's a custom rack created by an up and coming customer builder ;-)

Actually it was created after I went down to the hardware store, bought some flat aluminum stock, some threaded rod, some nuts and some black spray paint. About an hour in the shop bending the aluminum and JB Weld'ing it, a quick painting and for less then $10 I had a very sturdy rack. I can carry my tent, camp chair, sleeping pad, and sleeping back on it. I know it will hold 10 lbs over dirt roads and trails.

My 2006 Ala Carte. Back to riding it after my Willits 29er **** the bed. Saving up for another 29er, but this bike is still a great ride.

My El Mariachi, on its first ride in October 2009. Now, it sports a Reba, a King headset, a King/Arch rear wheel, a Silverado saddle, Thomson stem, Easton carbon riser, 180 ss cranks, and The Captain tires. Love, love this bike. Can't wait to ride it later today!!

My La Cruz. 51cm frame size, 1x9 with 34c road slicks and Woodchipper. After living with it for a few months I'm coming to the realization that the tt might be a bit long for me though, so I'll probably move on to something else. Great bike though!

Mine is all the complete specs.

I just upgraded my seat bag because I like to carry a little more in it.

My front light is the NiteRider 150 and the rear light is a Portland Works (I think thats what it is?). I'm getting a Brooks Saddle here in the coming weeks as well as the revelate designs tangle bag.

    my new ti El Mariachi

well here is my new El Mariachi. I had a Niner Air9 that cracked so my lbs hooked me up with the El Mariachi frame. This pic is before I swapped out the pewter seatpost clamp for the red one I had and also before I adjusted my cockpit a bit. Still need to fine tune the bars/grip probably going to a Pro Moto carbon flat bar and some Ergon GX1's. after the first ride. This is such a nice frame. I am very happy with my purchase. Updated with a non-cell phone photo. Also swapped out the seat post collar and flipped my stem. LOVE THIS BIKE!

Hey JohnC, bike looks good. where did you get the rack that's over your rear tire? I want the front one, but the 'dealer locator on Salsa isn't helpful to me!

Salsa Moto Rapido, Team SID, XT cranks, monkey lite bars, Easton carbon post, SLR seat, CrossMax SLR, Schwalbe Racing Ralph tires, XT brakes, Frog chromoly pedals.
Weighs in at 21lbs 4oz. I need an extra pair of pedals so I may get some Ti-Frogs, it would be cool getting it in the 20lb range.

My first Salsa. I'm very excited, I've been lusting after Salsa bikes for a while now, and I think I made a good first choice. I debated over a frame vs complete for a while, but in the end the complete was too good of a deal to pass up.

Agreed. It seems pure road bikes from Salsa are an endangered species. I've had it for over a year now and am looking forward to many more miles.

I have a Casseroll frameset incoming, but here is what I have and have had...

    The Vaya in SoCal (home)

    In NorCal

    In Portland, OR

My old Campeon (should have kept it)

and my old Las Cruces, this was a predecessor to the Vaya I'm sure...

Given the current state of the salsa line up , I would have been kicking myself in the ass if I had sold that bike. I haven't really seen many used ones floating around, which tells me people that bought them probably really liked them and kept them or they just didn't produce and sell that many. Nice stable of bikes you have/had.

too true... it does sound like there is something in the works for a road bike through... I just hope they don't go Ti only and have a steel version...

    Here is my El Kaboing.

I just got rid of my El Go Go frame. It was too big for me, otherwise a very nice bike. Wish Salsa would bring back more race type road bikes.

    Look what I just found

Possibly one of the last remaining new Dos Niner's in existence. Thanks to a tip from another thread in the Salsa forum, I was able to secure this frame last week.

Thanks! It was a birthday gift from my lovely wife a while back. Total surprise, never saw it coming. She did well. Of course a few "upgrades" have occurred along the way....

This URL shows my Salsa rides...https://picasaweb.google.com/1064965...8540460/Salsa#

The one not shown is the Fargo Gen 2, which for some reason I do not have any pictures of! The others are all there - Vaya, Fargo, Mukluk, La Cruz.

Edit: I should mention the Vaya now sports Cowbell 2 bars and not Chippers. The La Cruz also has Cowbell 2's. The Cowbell 2 is hands down my fave road bar now. I've also decided against the handlebar bag and will retain the Minimalist rack plus add the low rider mounts on the Vaya. Its very unstable over 25 mph on descents with the Ortlieb handlebar bag. That weight needs to be lower.

I have some changes coming soon to mine. I ordered a x7 crankset with removable spider and a spiderless chain ring in green from Home brewed components, I am swapping out the bottle holders with white ones, and I flipped the stem to make it more relaxed...

I like the JFGreen its sharp looking, Im going to see if the dealer can build a JFG frame off the specs of the Slate Blue, or have Salsa do the build in the shop. Not sure how that'll work out, looks great darrinw2001, looking forward to a couple new shots.

Mine has the alternator drop outs. It doesn't have an EBB. That's why I got rid of the SIR9. I LOVE my Niner EMD though. I've got this one for sale in the classifieds right now. I gotta save my knees.

UPS brought my '11 Spearfish today. I'm planning on riding it tomorrow after work.

XL complete build came in at 28.2 lbs with Candy pedals. Not sure if that will go down or how much when I switch over to tubeless.

My Selma. Thinking about adorning her with a Niner Carbon Fork this spring. Local shop might let me "demo" the fork first, which would be sweet.

BMike.........great looking Fargo! Looks like you could lost for hours without a care in the world on that thing.

AC....nice EM. That green is nice, and I'm sure it sparkles a little more in real life than pictures can portray. My La Cruz is the same way. Once the sun catches it it really brings out the flake in the paint.

Updates on mine in sig. It got a weight reduction and some racier gear. My La Cruz is now somewhere around 20ish lbs. I would weigh it, but it really doesn't matter because I wouldn't change all that much.

Pretty sure I havent posted my Las Cruces. It is my cyclocross/road bike. Scandium frame. Good geometry. Bought it used for a good price.

    Oh, and it's orange.

Here is my new (to me) Spearfish. Bought as a used frame & fork I've built it up as a 1x10 with a variety of new/used/spares bin components. Only ridden it about 10 miles but love it. Time to replace the odd parts with something that it deserves!

Here's my big mama. I have it up in the classifieds but now that I bought the new wheelset I think I'll keep it. Its hard to believe a lighter wheelset makes such a difference.

Does a Tubus racks fit the new Fargo?
It thought it was only compatible with Salsa Alternator Rack. Let us know how it goes. I am looking at fitting a Tubus Logo too as Im not sure how durable the aluminum Salsa version would stand up a heavy abuse.

That is a Surly Nice rack on it. A couple of nylon spacers and longer machine screws and some stainless washers got the job done. Had to spread it a bit but was fine, just crazy heavy. I didn't want the aluminum Alternator as it would be too hard to get welded just anywhere

Just bought two, and sold two. 2009 El Mar replaced by 2015 Horsethief, and a 2014 Mukluk replaced by a 2015 El Mar. Should be in good company with my 2015 Warbird, and 2014 Colossal. I'll have to get a pic up...

Probably have a buddy build up a 27.5+ wheel set to use as an alternate for the El Mar in the sandy MN River Bottoms...

So much Salsa, so little cash...

2016 Pony Rustler upgraded to I9 wheels - I like the plus wheels in mud/snow, but I prefer the responsiveness of 29r's in the dry season. Overall this is a GREAT bike - thank you Salsa!

Fargo and Mukluk TI the knot....

Been riding a TI Fargo for almost a year. Use super motos for commuting and mtb tires in the winter with a fat front - Knard 3" for winter.

Finally decided to try fat after demoing a couple. Sold my FS and the townie bike. Took a while to find the TI Mukluk as Salsa discontinued it, but managed to find one in Chicago.

Here they are together and the maiden voyage for Large Marge after I swapped the seat, post, new bars and cable Spyke brakes.

This thing is a blast and rolls over everything!

My pops and I just rode the Great Allegheny Passage on our El Mariachi's set up in gravel mode! (mine is on the right)

I just converted from SS to 1x10 xt, and am having a blast. Right after this trip I put a new Reba on, and put my 2.4 Ardents on front and rear... it's amazing how versatile these bikes are!

This is the only pic of the bike I have yet. Bought it on Tuesday and it has rained ever since, so no trail pics yet. Hoping this weekend. Last ride was an Epic 29er, so should be interesting switching from FS to rigid.

    2016 Beargrease X7 "Purple Nurple"

I just purchased a 2016 Breagrease X7 and upgraded to a 1x11 XT/XX1 setup, changed the bars, stem, seat and seatpost and went to a Dillinger 5 in the front and a Escalator 4 in the back.
I was on a first generation Mukluk for years, so this is a big upgrade for me. The overall size and geo fit me waay better than my Muk ever did.

My BG needed to take flight, so the baby Eagle landed to get the journey started.

I've been trying to find something that ticks all the boxes more than my Blackborow, but I'm not sure it currently exists.

Ha, yeah. I'm in between sizes, and have been riding a lg. Blackborow for the last couple seasons, but ultimately decided I'd prefer a medium. Found a deal I couldn't resist on a 2016 closeout frame and swapped everything over.

My Thunder Chicken, have since added Thomson cockpit, Brooks cambium saddle, and pondering the FSA SL-K adventure cranks. 46-30 gearing would be much appreciated in Pisgah.
