    salsa rings ??? any good ???

    hey all. are salsa rings good for ss riding ??? is this one on speedgoat a good deal for a 34t 110bc it says no ramps or pins.. 27 bucks

    Yes, they work great. As far as I know, one of the best deals for the money with a good selection of sizes.

    coloradocyclist or excel had some spots for 30 bucks, but they were crazy sizes.

    I have been using them for the last couple of years with no issues. They work great for singlespeeding.

    They also have Salsa rings. I have a 36t on my ride and it's just great!

    Try bikeman.com as well

    I just got a 34 tooth from them the other day. They sell lots of sizes in black or silver. You have to look for them in the regular geary chainrings, but they work great for single speed applications (no ramps or pins). I paid under $20 for mine.

    Yep, but I picked one up at my LBS for $20, although it was four-arm.
