Salsa Marrakesh frame rear spacing problem

Just got a 2016 Marrakesh frameset. The specsheet says rear space is 135mm, I measure 130mm, alternator dropout plate to plate. See pic with measurement. https://photos.app.goo.gl/kcz42L7XjqeXNLxz9

The dropout plate says 587-03 on it. Perhaps wrong plate? https://photos.app.goo.gl/DjTKNNnBTzvM6hTH7

Can somebody measure the space between frame points to which the plates attached? I get 144mm https://photos.app.goo.gl/nCY7bpyLrKUYF58W8

It looks like the frame is misaligned, which partially explains the spec rear spacing (135mm) and the actual 130mm I measured.

Can the frame be safely straightened?

Forced the 135mm wheel on to the frame, gently spreading the chainstays, now the alignment is within 2mm. I guess within tolerable specs. Not exactly "quick-release" Salsa ) advertises on the specsheet, though.

    It's steel, it's fine to spread 5mm.
How about a picture of the whole bike once you get it together?

    Enjoy, nice bike.
This post is a natural product. Variances in spelling & grammar should be appreciated as part of its character & beauty.

Ah, just got the frame. But will certainly post pics once I get it together.
