Salsa Juan Solo and Rigid Fork

Does anyone run a rigid fork on their Juan Solo (or know someone who does)? I'm just curious as to what fork you're using.

Salsa recommends 441mm fork length. How far off this length do you think I could be before the handling is noticably affected? 5mm? 20mm?

The Surley 1x1 is 413mm and the Instigator is 447mm (and quite a bit heavier).
