    new salsa bike pron

just got my new salsa ala carte. It weighs in at 23.5lbs with everything! Built up with XT/XTR components and my favorite the Chris King wheelset. Let me know what you guys think. I will prolly be racing up at Clinton Lake on Sunday if it ever stops raining.

    Sweet!

Nice looking bike! I just purchased my wife a Bandito. Had it built with xt/lx...I have to say I am very jealous. I am setting my sites on a Caballero. Anyway...let us know how the bike does for you.

Killer bike! I wish Salsa got more exposure... They don't even have a place to review them on this site. I just bought a Bandito with the flame graphics. My set-up is xt/xtr, race face NEXT cranks, SID XC fork, mavic x517... It is sooooo light! Congrats! You have good taste!

Sweet Looking bike. I ride a Ala Carte too. Get something to protect that chainstay or the paint will chip fast. I just added the Salsa Chainstay protector...it's leather, and it works well, for pretty cheap. What kind of bike were you riding before you got the Salsa?

    beautiful bike!

wanted to get a salsa ala carte for myself... wanted a light hardtail, 853 steel. picked up a jamis dragon instead, but same racer red color! =) my 19" is about 24.5lbs with a z2 bomber, probably get get it closer to 24lbs with a sid.

got a vintage, older ala carte for my fiance though, 15", paints got some chips but it's a beautiful bike.

I think I read somewhere that they're discontinuing the Caballero - true?
