    Missing my Mama

Tore down my Mama a few weeks ago.

Used the parts to build up an El Mar.

    I miss my Mama.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Typos and terseness are to be expected.

At least I did not sell the frame. Perhaps I'll rip down another bike and rebuild the Mama.

On a different note, I just last night replaced the gobbly Avid brakes I had originally put on the El Mar with some Shimano SLX goodness. Around the block testing is promising. I actually had to start and stop several times to convince myself that the gobble is actually, really and truly gone. I can still hardly believe it. Am planning a trail ride tonight. Hopefully the Shimano smoothness will hold.

I sold my Big Mama frame and built up an El Mar sold that and built up a Spearfish 1 I have had lots of bikes but I like the SF1 better than well wate! maybe it was the Mamasita I like the best NO! wate it's the El Mar! I liked the best well the SF is the best on rocky/rooty long rides but I am going to retire the Mamasita and get the new 2013 El Mar frame.

The only thing worse than not having the bike you want is not having enough time to ride the bike you have. I wish I had more time to ride.....I love my Big Mama.

I am selling my Big Mama frame to fund my Spearfish build. Usual scuffs and chainsuck but over all very nice and presentable. Size large. yes, I will miss her but looking forward to trying the spearfish. Hit me up if anyone is looking.
