Vittoria Morsa Graphene 2.3 front, Maxxis Forekaster 2.35 rear.

No problem fitting WTB trailboss 2.4 front or rear either, also have Flow MK3's and Pike 130mm.

I have same wheel with Hope pro 4's currently have maxxis minion dhf 2.5 and dhr 2 2.3 in back. If I get a new tire it would have been the wt 2.4 version

Im running Vittoria gomas 2.4 now but on narrower wheels and before I put the gomas on the mk3's is was curious if I could squeeze a little wider tire in I know the whole profile will change from wheel to wheel too

Need to be more specific. The new boost-spaced HT (2016 and newer) or the older HT?

My 2015 HT came spec'd with 2.35 nobby nics so obviously that works. A guy in the main HT thread said he got 27.5x2.8 to fit with some minor rubbing. That's the widest tire I've ever heard of on a non-boost HT, but 27.5 != 29 obviously.

I've wondered this question myself, and it sounds like you can get away with a 29x2.4 in the rear but I'd be really surprised if you could go wider than that. 29x2.4 also seem really limited too, the only thing I'm even aware of is the Maxxis Minion DHR II 29X2.40WT.

Somewhat related thought on this topic in general. I've often thought it was strange that Salsa debuted the carbon HT in 2015 and then immediately switched to the boost version in 2016 since it's expensive to make/change molds. I'm starting to think/wonder if there are actually any differences between the carbon part of the 2015 and 2016 frames, rather the boost version seems like it might just be a different AL rear triangle. Conceivably you might be able to purchase the rear end and make a plus bike out of an older HT but I kind of doubt it'd be worth the cost when you added it all up.

The 2.4 goma in the rear now has no more room I'm going to stick with that in the rear and I just ordered a nobby nic 2.6 up front to try and see what happens
