Horsethief 2 frame with no stealth cable routing for dropper?

    Hi all,

Ive got a 2014 HT2 frame and wanted to run a stealth dropper but noticed my frame doenst have the bung on the seat tube where the cable would enter??

As Im probably the third owner of this frame warranty is not going to apply to me and therfore I was wondering do you think it woulld be ok to drill a hole in the frame where Salsa themselves do it ?

Ive emailed Salsa the question but had no reply as of yet.

    Cheers

    Steve

Salsa is going to say no. No way they are going to go on record saying it's OK to modify a frame of theirs.

Is it OK? Would I do it to a 3-4 year old aluminum frame? Probably. If a crack develops, it's your issue, not Salsa's though.
