    Dos Niner at your lbs?

Talk about your 29er friendly shop With availability of the Fisher models (Xcal, Paragon, 292, 293) scarce at best (and demand being what it is), we tried bringing in some Salsa Dos Niners. It helps alot when the buyer is a 29er fanatic! Everyone that hops on one absolutely loves it. I took a few pics of the floor today and if you are ever the Omaha area and want to demo one stop on in!
    PIcs 1&3- 292 and Xcal
Pic 2- Dos Niner custom build (we have 2 20'sand a 22"). One 20" is a demo and is a bit different from the other 2 but the parts are as follows:
    -Dos Niner fame
    -Reba Race 29er with POPLOC
    -LX Crankset
-Avid BB7 brakes to FR levers
    -X9 Rear Der and shifters
-Custom built Wheels (XT hubs/Mavic A317 disk specific rims)
    -FSA stem, bar, and seatpost
    -WTB saddle

My shop had two Xcal's and both were sold last week by me. I'm going to try to talk the buyer into bringing in a Monkey and/or a Salsa to have on the floor just to have a29" presence.

I got my brother's bike done...it turned out pretty nice. We're delivering it to him tonight with a ride (hopefully) if it doesn't rain too much today. I'm also getting ready to SS my Mt. Tam. Pueshner might be able to be talked into it...although I've never seen him stock a Surly or a Salsa yet. Good luck.

I'll try hard to get him to do it. If they some in the door, I'm vetting they'll be out pretty damned quickly. Had some guy come in the other day(Doug?) looking at niners and I talked him into a monkey w/Sram goodies, so if he's got the cash, there's one in + out.

I spoke to Doug about 29ers awhile back too. He was eyeing the L X-Caliber that was in the shop early in the spring. That'd be cool to get him out on the trails...if it's the same guy I'm thinking of, he rides motos alot so the transition shouldn't be too bad for him. We'll be up there Memorial Day weekend...I'll be calling Erik today with an order fro some 29er goodies that I'd like to pick up then.

cool enough. That's the guy too. I sold the L Xcal from under him I think, though he's quite interested in the monkey. Steel thing I think.
