    Deadwood Frame Up

I've been sitting on Deadwood frameset for months and I've only just recently started ordering the parts to build it up.

    Frame: 2016 Salsa Deadwood (small)
    Fork: Salsa Carbon Firestarter
Front Hub: Onyx, 100/15mm, 32h, centerlock
Rear Hub: Onyx, 148/12mm, 32h, centerlock, 11 speed road freehub
    Rims: WTB Scraper i45, 32h
    Spokes: DT Swiss Super Comp
    Nipples: DT Swiss Pro Lock
    Tires: Maxxis Chronicle 29x3 EXO/TR
    Bottom Bracket: Enduro XD-15 A/C
    Crank: Shimano XT FC-M8000-2, 38/28, 165mm
Front Derailleur: Shimano XT Di2 FD-M8070
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT Di2 RD-M8050-GS
    Levers: Shimano Alfine Di2
    Chain: Sram PC-1170
    Cassette: Sram PG-1170, 11-36
    Brakes: TRP Hy/Rd
Rotors: Shimano RT-99, centerlock, unsure about sizes
    Bars: Salsa Woodchipper 46cm
    Seat: Selle Anatomica
Seat Post: Gravity Dropper Turbo LP
Headset: Cane Creek 110/40/10 or Works Components 1.5*
Stem: Renthal Apex, unsure about length
Chainrings: AbsoluteBlack Oval 2x 96/64bcd, not yet released, probably 38/24
    Pedals: Pedaling Innovations Catalyst

I'll be adding pictures and editing the build as it progresses. It's all being done at a friend's LBS and I only get to go there on the weekends, so it'll take a while.

Sorry, I'm just super slow at getting things done. Right now it's sitting at my friend's lbs mostly build. I need to figure out the right stem length, and all the cables and wires still need to be run. I promise I'll get picks once it's complete. I may be able to get some of it in it's current state later today.

Although it's not "finished" finished, it's finally almost finished. I still need to cut the steerer tube, and there's an 11-42 in the rear that may turn into an 11-36.

It's everything I thought it would be. A few parts that ended up on it aren't exactly as I planned in the original build list (stem, seat post, chainrings, spokes, nipples, pedals, etc.), but it ended up coming together very well.

I ended up slamming the bars and it feels great even though it's not exactly the way it's meant to be. I did this because I decided I wanted the drops/hooks for climbing, the tops/ramps for chugging along, and the hoods for regular riding.

How did you setup the Di2 system on it? I am likely going to get a Fargo Ti frame in the near future and would love to set it up Di2.

2x11 XT using Alfine levers (one button right side shifting, left side is brake only) with 11-36 out back. I think the crank is 26/36.
