    2013 Horsethief 3 2x10 Drivetrain?

I'm having trouble with the front shifting in my 2013 Salsa Horsethief 3. I installed a Sram X7 39T/26T 2x10 crankset, an X0 high direct mount FD, and X7 2x10 shifters. I had some difficulty getting the front derailleur dialed in, it will not shift from the inner ring to the outer ring unless its on the outermost rear cogs (19-11). If I have it even one cog down on the cassette, it will drop to the small ring. No amount of limit screw adjustments and cable tension adjustments makes it work.

I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    JP

    How old is the drivetrain?

Check that the crank is tight. Also, check to see if there are any spacers that can be moved from the drive side of the bottom bracket to the non drive side.

The crank was a little loose. However, I think the problem was the cable housing . . . I install a new cable and is working.
