Winter Project - Painting the Instinct - What do you think?

I know, there is still plenty of summer, fall and some winter riding left. But I was just looking at my bike and thinking I want to change a couple of things this winter.

The pic below is not my bike. But my bike looks the same.

I was thinking of painting those two small parts either the same orange RM uses on the bike (I would have to call them and ask them what paint they use and hope they will tell me), or a different color.

    What do you think?
    Any color suggestions?

Since the parts are so small, I could first Plasti dip them to see what they look like. If I like it, I can peel it off and use real paint.

Why not? if you want to, do it!

Personally, i think bikes are too colour coordinated these days. I try to reduce it.

Haha I know it's not your bike because it's mine😜.
I contacted RM about the orange on the Instinct so I could get my carbon wheel decals to match, they told me it is Fox racing orange.👍🏻

But, I hear that color coordinating makes them faster.

I think you should go for it.

Don't bother with plasti-dip. Just test your technique on something first. Maybe do the linkage first because they're pretty cheap if you happen to hate it.
