Reach on a medium Element 2019?

    Curious.
Geo is not up on the site.

That's great to hear, not too long. PLEASE leave those reach numbers for the 2020 Altitude!

Hey, do you also have the HT angles available with ride9?
    Thanks!

The website geometry display appears to be working now...

Hunh, I was considering an XC bike...but only if the HTA was more around the 66 area.
    Bummer.
    Maybe with the ride 9?

The Element geometry screen caps are min to max head angles using Ride9.

If you want a 66deg HTA XC bike, that would be the Thunderbolt in full slack Ride 9 setting (well 66.4deg).

    Thunderbolt | Rocky Mountain Bicycles

or the Instrinct for a 29" wheel bike, it is 66deg at full slack Ride9 setting

I already have the Altitude, so I am looking for something quite different...really light, 29-er, 100mm rear, 120 front, with a hta on the slacker side. Maybe with a works headset to get down to 67?

You could do a Works 2 degree EC44/ZS56 set - you'd end up slacking out at 66,2 degrees with a 120 mm fork. The only downside might be the increased stack height with the external upper cup, but that depends on your needs.

Conversely, I am possibly thinking 140 pike dual air up front in order to kill two birds with one stone...

It seems like there has been a lot of progression in geometry experimentation to hold the front wheel down on slack XC bikes while climbing. With the element, 66HTA would be an extreme from your starting point but I am interested in the outcome.

If it was me, I would start with a frame already in the slack XC category (Intense Sniper at 67.5 or Scott Spark at 67.2)
