    After market Thru Axles ....who's used them ??

    Looking for a set for my 2012 Element 950 29'r .
    Looking handless ones after the one on my fork
    "fu barred" itself .

    I have used the Far and near 142 e-type on my 2013 element 29. Works fine . Cleans up the back end

    You just need the proper length and thread pitch and your frame and/or fork won’t know OE from aftermarket

    DT Swiss makes a 12mm thru axle where the handle is removable after you tighten it

    I use an Ibis Hexle in the back of my Thunderbolt and have another for my Altitude that's been on back-order for ages - thanks for the reminder. The funny thing is the thick carbon dropouts on RMBs mean you actually need the "148 mm BOOST Shimano" version.
