2019 Instinct A70; why or why not?

In all likelihood this is the bike my shop will try and get me. Not sure how long the wait will be, but I really need it ASAP.

    So a few questions...

Is this a worthy bike? (ignoring the price increase)

Any reason not to consider this?

Is it really worth the price difference over the A50?

    Thanks.

Since you're not getting much feedback, I'll weigh in with an opinion. Not a true apples-apples, but you may find it useful.

I bought an '18 Instinct C50 maybe 6 weeks ago. Haven't owned a Rocky in years and was in the market. My favorite local shop had an XL on the floor. Beautiful bike, OK build and really, really flexible with the chips and the fact you can run an 8.5x2.5 shock and a 160 fork.

I sold it last week. Had maybe 120 miles or so in a variety of environments (Phoenix, Sedona and Flagstaff).

It's a fine bicycle and if I didn't have so much to compare it to, I'm sure I'd have been more likely to keep it. That said, there is a metric ton of competition in that segment of mid-travel 29ers. For me in the environment I commonly ride, the 2019 Stumpjumper alloy that I also own absolutely destroys the Instinct.

Just one rider's opinion, but hope it's helpful.
Just like a raindrop, I was born to fall.

I am an A70 owner (since Dec 17) Down Under. Love the bike and yes, i reckon it is worth the additional ask over the A50.
I don't know if you've ridden a RM bike with the Ride-9 before but if not, it is well worth spending some time testing out the different settings as this is key to getting the ideal setup in terms of geometry and riding position, etc.
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers,
    JW
