    White Syncros wheels

These are kind of interesting. It's the DS28 rim in white in 29er. Weight is 2100 grams. Availability is after Interbike of this year.

I'm reviewing this wheelset for mtbr. White wheels are way cool if you have a white bike. It can be hard to match though otherwise.

Hard to match? White--like black--goes with everything!

Breakaways do NOT suck! I took mine (steel roadie) to Europe a couple of times. SO much easier to travel with, very simple design (easy to build, break down) and the ride is actually really solid (have not ridden the ti version).

Is that an MTB frame I see there...?

Spill the beans on the titanium BAB. Is that a MTB (it looks like it)? Is it 29-inch? Tom Ritchey has been testing the BAB system on a mountain frame for awhile now. Dahon is already using it and are producing a 26-inch MTB version.

I'm currently riding a steel Ritchey BAB cyclocross frame. Great bike - rides like a traditional frame and very easy to travel with. A bit lighter than S&S. I'm in the process of having the dropouts converted from Breezer style - geared only - to some Paragon track ends with a derailleur hanger so I can run fixed/free or geared. IMO should make it even easier to travel with as a SS.

I don't know nutin about it. You tell me. They're definitely more elegant than an S&S frame.

    Here's some pics.

Those wheels do look pretty nice. They would go well with a black frame also. The fixed gear crowd might like those to replace their white powder coated Deep Vs, for hucking larger and more aggressive curbs.

Francois, that Ritchey is really a beauty! It deserves its own thread. That design is quite elegant. I like it more than S and S couplers.

This thread is really three rolled into one, including Shiggys R, NC17 or X rated secret.
