    Syncros 29er Wheelset?!?!

I sent an email to Syncros about the possibility of making their DS28 26" rim in a 29er version and this is the response i got...................

Marc: We are currently testing a 29" rim based on the DS28. Release date is probably Sea Otter (hopefully). The wheel set will follow by Interbike. It will be the DS28 29" with FL Hubs. Also it will be available in white.
Marc, we also make a wide flat bar for 29" called the Big Fixed Bar. 690mm width with a 10 degree bend. Very trick for the big wheels.
    Regards,
    Marshall

i was super stoked that he responded so fast and even more excited to hear they are stepping up to the 29er plate. now we just need some 'white wall' tire to match. hehehe

anyway, just thought you guys might be interested if you hadn't already heard. later

Cool. Marshal was asking me about 29er stuff at interbike. Good to see them working on it.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

This bar lowers your front end by a minimum of 25mm with no
change in steering leverage and control, and maintains a natural
    wrist and hand position

The DS-28 rim looks like the Halo Freedom Disc's profile.

    Any Sightings?

    Well?

Has anybody seen these at Sea Otter?
You cannot go against nature, because when you do, its part of nature too.
